Our Impact

How we are working towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Good 4 Business is aligned with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and committed to collaborating with communities and partners to tackle:

  • SDG 13: Climate Action: 15 % increase in client awareness of climate action principles, measured through pre- and post-coaching surveys. Every client should have policy and process enhancements to address climate action and environmental sustainability.
  • SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production: 10% increase in client awareness of responsible consumption and production principles. Review or create new policies and processes to enhance our client’s sustainable sourcing and reduce waste. We will continue actively promoting responsible consumption and production within our operations, contributing to sustainable practices in the business ecosystem.
  • SDG 5: Gender Equality and SDG 10: Reduced Inequality: 10 % increase in client awareness of social equity and inclusion principles. Every client needs policy and process enhancements to promote diversity, equal opportunities and inclusion.
  • SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education: 10% increase in client awareness of employee well-being and development principles. Track the number of training programs implemented, focusing on employee well-being and sustainable business practices. Also, track employee participation rates in educational initiatives.

Theory of Change

How Good 4 Business understands the problem and solutions

  1. Problem Statement:  The existing economic paradigm prioritises maximising shareholder profit without considering the broader consequences. This approach has led to the exploitation of natural and human resources, contributing to a climate crisis.
  2. Proposed Solution:  To address these challenges, we advocate for a transformative shift towards a more sustainable economic system—one in which businesses operate for the collective well-being of both people and the planet
  3. The role of B Corp Certification: The B Corp certification framework emerges as a key tool for businesses seeking to positively measure and enhance their social and environmental impact (B Corp 2023). By adhering to B Corp principles, companies can strategically contribute to sustainable development
  4. The role of SMEs:  Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), comprising 90% of global businesses and supporting over 70% of employment (WEF 2023), are pivotal in fostering innovation necessary to tackle complex global issues.
  5. The role of B Corp Advocates:  B Corp advocates are essential in promoting and instigating positive change within organisations.
